What to do if your computer is lost or stolen?

Summary
If your laptop or mobile phone (including your personal laptop or mobile phone) is lost or stolen, contact TI immediately. We'll send a remote wipe command for your laptop data and connect additional teams like Security and Workplace Experience depending on the type of incident.

This is very serious and could put your personal data, company data or customer data and privacy at risk, so it is important that we act quickly to resolve it.

What should I do next?
The IT team is here to help! Send us a ticket and we'll take care of everything. Please provide as many details as possible, including location information and who you have already contacted regarding the lost or stolen property.

While we settle the ticket, it is your responsibility to file a police report.

If possible, you may be asked to remotely lock or wipe your mobile phone data, so set your phone to allow this.

REMINDER: Do not install the VPN on personal devices (if you have, please uninstall it as soon as possible). Please review the Information Security Policy for complete details on approved ways to access data.
